About Wenger

From its beginnings in 1893 as a knife factory in Courtételle in the Swiss Jura region, Wenger has enjoyed a long and rich history. Every item made by Wenger over the last 125 years, has been shaped by a passion for quality and precision, and a commitment to outstanding craftsmanship. Creating many iconic products, including the Swiss Army Knife, Wenger expanded its internationally popular collection to include watches in 1997 and travel gear from 2003.

In 2005, Victorinox acquired Wenger as a subsidiary company, keeping this important part of Swiss engineering heritage under Swiss ownership. Wenger has kept its own distinct brand identity and constantly worked to develop and refine its product lines.

When Victorinox integrated Wenger’s knives into its own range in 2013, Wenger concentrated on becoming a global leader in two of its strongest areas: watches and travel gear. With a reputation for reasonable pricing, reliable products, and current, considered design Wenger has earned its place as a world-renowned creator of impeccable products that deliver on both functionality and style.
